Zeblaze Crystal Smartwatch Sketches Surfaces

We’ve seen quite a few smartwatches released in the last year or so. Ever since Google introduced their Android Wear platform many smartphone OEMs have decided to take advantage of the new OS, companies like Motorola, LG, Samsung, Huawei and Sony. We’re still seeing a lot of OEMs releasing smartwatches which are not powered by Android Wear. These platforms are either running regular Android OS, like the Intex-branded smartwatch revealed yesterday, or are powered by a third-party operating system.

Speaking of third-party software, we’ve recently talked about the Zeblaze Rover smartwatch which is already available for purchase. That smartwatch is made out of metal, and sports a rather interesting and quite sleek look. The Rover is powered by MediaTek’s MTK2501 SoC, sports 24MB of RAM and a 1.54 240 x 240 TFT display. This smartwatch has plenty of functions and comes in three color variants. In the Zeblaze Rover article we mentioned that the company is working on yet another smartwatch offering, and today the company shared first teasers for their upcoming smartwatch along with its release date, read on.

If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll see sketches of the Zeblaze Crystal smartwatch. Zeblaze’s new watch offering will land on August 5th according to this teaser, and it seems like this smartwatch won’t be circular either. As you can see in these sketches, the watch will sport a physical power / lock button on its right side, and the POGO pins will be available on the bottom of this smartwatch, you’ll probably use them to charge it up. The Zeblaze Crystal seems to have rather thick bezels all around the display, and the watch itself doesn’t seem all that thin either. It is worth mentioning that these are only sketches and not the final design, we’ll wait for the final design and real life images before commenting on its design any further.

There you have it folks, the Zeblaze Crystal will launch on August 5th, and we’ll probably see more leaks before that happens. As soon as something interesting surfaces, we’ll make sure to let you know about it, stay tuned.
