The end of the year is well-known as the wedding season. Many like to tie the knot around the holiday season. But unfortunately, the end of the year in Malaysia also means it’s monsoon season.
Wedding season and monsoon season don’t mix really well. Especially when the monsoon season gets real bad and brings flood along with it. That’s what happened to this couple’s wedding in Meru, Klang.

TikTok user, Opie (@Asyikonnnnnnnnnn), got married during the huge flash flood that took place during the weekend. She stated that the wedding has been planned months back, and the venue was booked a couple of months ago. The venue was decided because it was in the vicinity of a homestay, which makes it convenient for family members who come from different states.
Opie also mentioned to mStar that she did not expect for the water levels to rise as high as it did after putting up the tents. “A week before, the weather was okay. Even when the tents and the wedding dais were put up, there were no signs of flood on that Friday, just small drizzles of rain. Then the water level went up to our calves, and by the evening, the water reached up to waist-level,” she explained.
The wedding was expected to house over 200 guests, but it had to be cancelled at the very last minute. Her relatives, who came form different states and were staying in that homestay, were moved to higher grounds (another relative’s home) in Bukit Kapar, Klang.
Despite the flash flood that crashed Opie’s wedding, she was still seen smiling from ear to ear with her husband right next to her. They even took beautiful, but eccentric, wedding pictures with their legs and wedding dresses soaked in the murky flood water. No, don’t worry, their wedding dresses were their own, and not rented!
We don’t know whether to laugh or be scared, but there was even a water snake that passed through their legs under the guests’ tables! Nevertheless, we wish Opie and her husband a long-lasting, happy and blessed marriage!
Just moments ago, Nurul Hafidzah Hassan dan Zeti Zulkifli – the lawyers representing Nur Sajat’s former main stockist OWA Resources – revealed that they have received approval of an application from the court to hold a second public auction this week.
In a statement sent by crisis management firm Saiful Ridzuan Public Relations and Communications to Murai earlier today (Monday, 20th December), the Shah Alam High Court has approved an application for a second public auction to be held at the queer entrepreneur’s Kota Damansara home.

“Our law firm received the declaration of sale issued by the court on Thursday, December 16. People who want to buy the list of items to be auctioned can come to the auction location on Wednesday (22nd December),” said Nurul Hafidzah.
In the meantime, the legal reps also advised the bidders to bring enough money on the day of the auction to ensure direct payment can be made after the bidding process. It is understood that the list of items that will be auctioned at 10:30 am is the same as the auction that was held on the first day of the auction which was held earlier on 14th December.

Previously, it was reported that the first auction had failed after the bidder, Mohammad Syazwan Ahmad Fiesol, who made the highest bid of RM132,000, suddenly went missing. In the same statement, Nurul Hafidzah also explained that the second auction process will be held to claim compensation of RM200,000 that failed to be paid as ordered by the court to their clients.
The lawyer stated. “The main objective of the clients (in) taking legal action through this civil suit case is to clear their names after they were accused of cheating, defamation, and when a false police report was made by the defendant that the client allegedly broke the trust of Muhammad Sajjad (Sajat’s dead name)’s company money of RM1 million.”
“After more than three years of fighting for this case in court, the judicial system has found that the plaintiffs have never cheated, defamed and breached trust as alleged by the defendant. The clients are innocent and the justice has been prevailed,” she added in the official statement issued to the entertainment website.

Natural disasters are unavoidable and there’s pretty much little to none that you can do about it, other than taking precautionary steps when disasters are announced predicted to happen. And we can only hope that the loss in lives and materials aren’t as huge.
One of the worst natural disasters that has happened this year, was from two days ago (18th December 2021). The flash flood that has hit most part of Selangor has not only affected housing areas, but even commercial areas.
One of the commercial areas that were reported to be affected by the flood was IOI Mall in Puchong. According to the pictures posted by Malaysia Shopping Mall through their Facebook page, the shops in the basement floor of the mall was affected badly by the flood. One of the shops that was affected was KOKO UniForm.
From the pictures, it can be seen that murky waters up to the knee-level were everywhere. While in some parts of the mall’s basement level, it seems like it was higher than knee-level. Malaysia Shopping Mall stated, “We are regret to inform that our IOI Mall Puchong branch will be closed until further notice due to (the) flood in Selangor.”
However, less than a couple of hours since those pictures were posted, the official Facebook page of IOI Mall Puchong released a statement of that they are opening their business up as usual. Although, they mentioned how their basement level carpark is currently closed down for cleaning purposes. Customers are still welcomed to visit and shop at their mall, and other levels of carparks are still open as usual.

Fans of Il Divo all over the world are mourning the death of Carlos Marín, who died in a hospital after being placed in a medically induced coma due to Covid-19. He was 53 years old.
His unfortunate death comes 3 days after it was reported that the powerhouse vocalist had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the Manchester Royal Medical Center in England. A week before, the pop opera group announced that their tour had to be postponed due to an ongoing illness.

The classical crossover group was formed by Simon Cowell back in 2003. Carlos Marín (a Spaniard born in Germany) was married to French-born singer Geraldine Larrosa (better know as Innocence) until 2009.

Recently, a Thai woman reported of being assaulted while having a meal in a restaurant in Klang. Her assailant was a Chinese businessman who allegedly held the Datuk Seri title. Police have been ascertaining facts of the report but have yet to make an arrest.
Yesterday (16th December), in a bid to seek justice, the Thai woman broke her silence about the case. She shared her side of the story and the aftermath.

According to China Press, the victim had accepted an interview with them to talk about what had happened that night on 9th December. As it turns out, what had been reported was only scratching the surface. The 23-year-old stated that she had gone to the seafood restaurant for dinner. Around 12am however, a group of people entered the space they were in.
She described their leader as a Chinese man in a blue shirt and a white hat. “My friends and I were very scared because these men looked fierce and blocked the door, preventing us from leaving the (area),” the Thai woman shared. Shocking, the 23-year-old revealed she had not been the first target. Another friend of hers had been assaulted by the man. When she tried to resist, she was slapped several times in quick succession.
The Chinese man had approached her next, and she tried dodging after seeing what had happened to her friend. However, she was unsuccessful. The Thai woman also tried to yell, but received immediate consequences. “The man hit my face with his elbow at least 6 times,” she said. “He panicked and told me, “If you don’t shut up and be quiet, I’ll show you how great I am!”” She added that he looked drunk at the time, but not very drunk.

The assault had injured her nose and it had been bleeding profusely. Her friends helped her stop the bleeding with tissues as the Chinese man’s bodyguard and staff had prevented them from leaving. Thankfully, by the time her boyfriend came to help, the group had already left. Only one employee from the restaurant was left and they were apologising profusely.
Although she had panicked and was scared at the time, the 23-year-old was confident she remembered the person. The Thai lady added that this was the first time she had been assaulted in Malaysia after being here for 3 years. The Chinese man’s assault had supposedly “disfigured” her face and left small scars.

The Thai lady’s Chinese boyfriend explained that the police have already taken a statement. They’re hoping the police will be able to bring the man to justice. Additionally, they have apparently been receiving calls and messages and suspect it is the assailant trying to contact them.
No clues were given as to who the “Datuk Seri” could possibly be, but we hope the police will not let them off lightly.
Hong Kong model CoCo Yuen (袁晴晴) has a reputation for her good looks and hot bod. However, recently, it seems as though the model has gained another reputation as well.
A male guest recently appeared on a Hong Kong show with some wild allegations. According to the man, he and CoCo had been dating, although she knew he was married. When he tried to break up with her, she not only asked for hush money, CoCo threatened to expose him if he didn’t do so.

The latest episode of Hong Kong show “Scoop (东张西望)” certainly lived up to it’s name. They brought in a male guest who alleged that CoCo was a home wrecker. The husband, known as Mr. L, had bravely decided to reveal the issue on his own. He admitted to the extramarital affair which had led to everything.
Mr. L alleged that the 30-year-old model knew he was married. However, CoCo supposedly didn’t care as she was willing to remain as his mistress. “I just want to experience the dating feeling,” she reportedly told him. The two later officiated their relationship in November 2019.
After 4-5 months of being in a relationship, Mr. L started feeling guilty. In an effort to make it up to his wife, he proposed the idea of breaking up with CoCo. To his horror, the model immediately claimed that she was pregnant. To make matters worse, she threatened to publicise the issue on camera as she was filming for the talent show “King Maker III (全民造星III)” at the time. However, he could buy her silence for HK$150,000 (~RM81,000). If he didn’t want to pay, Mr. L was supposed to “divorce immediately“.

CoCo’s friend also appeared on the show to explain why CoCo had been attracted to Mr. L. Although CoCo’s first priority in a partner is usually his income, she disregarded that as Mr. L purportedly looks like Hong Kong star Jason Chan (陈智燊). Additionally, her friend claimed that CoCo had not actually been pregnant. Her period had just been late by a few days.
The model has responded to the issue on her Instagram. In an earlier story, she claimed: “The truth is in my hands.” Not only did she release her chat records, she also included voice messages. However, she had warned that these will be taken down in 24-hours. In her latest Instagram story, she claims she was betrayed by the man she loves and is calling him a liar.

Somehow, this is more dramatic than any drama we’ve ever watched. However, we have to admit we’re pretty invested. So far, we’re not entirely convinced that CoCo is as innocent as she claims. Mr. L on the other hand, is clearly in the wrong.
Either way, the real victim is definitely Mr. L’s wife. Hopefully, she finds a better partner. If she chooses to forgive him, we sincerely hope he won’t betray her again.
Congratulatory messages are in order for Hwang Chansung (황찬성), the youngest member (or as fans call it maknae) of the K-pop boy group 2PM, who is about to start his own family soon!

Ever since the agonizing cliffhanger left at the end of “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”, fans of the Wizarding World have been pining for some clarity. While there were some elements of the film that we found profoundly fascinating, there were others that left us scratching our heads. Then, there were some plotholes and twists in the film that had us downright fuming. How the hell is Credence connected to Dumbledore?
Sorry, sorry, we’re getting ahead of ourselves. There’s also been developments over the years that have forced Warner Bros. to make some critical changes to the franchise. Namely, actor Johnny Depp being asked to bow out from his role as the infamous Gellert Grindelwald.
With Warner Bros. dropping their official trailer for the sequel, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore”, it’s time for answers. Contrary to Dumbledore’s kindly bearded face, the wizard has more than a boggart in his closet. He’s got some secrets that need revealing and there are some burning questions that need to be answered. So without further ado, these are the mysteries we’re hoping “Secrets of Dumbledore” will uncover!
1. The True Identity of Credence Barebone
Some of you are probably going: We already know the answer to that. He’s Aurelius, Dumbledore’s brother. Really? Is he though? We’re not convinced. There is not a single shred of evidence in the books or past films about Dumbledore having a secret brother. Furthermore, there are some major discrepancies with regards to the timeline. There’s absolutely no way Credence could be Albus’ brother. Their mother died 8 years before he was born and their father was in Azkaban, and also died before Credence was born. His age is established in “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” with Ezra Miller confirming Credence to be 18 years old in the film. So even if daddy Dumbledore had an affair, his son would have to be around 34 years old!
It seems that the film’s writer, J.K. Rowling, has written herself into a corner with no logical explanation. Other than the very lacklustre possibility of Grindelwald having lied to Credence about his identity. Sure, that’s plausible but that would just be so arbitrary and random. That being said, we’re still crossing our fingers hoping that Rowling and writer Steve Kloves can fix this plothole with some creative magic. We just hope they don’t resort to time-travel, now that would be horrible.
2. The Death of Ariana Dumbledore

In the “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” book, we learned of a legendary three-way duel between Grindelwald and the two brothers, Albus and Aberforth. This was the Duel at Godric Hollow, the battle that tore his relationship with Grindelwald apart. The day he realized that his friend and lover was a dangerous Dark Wizard. The two brothers fought with Grindelwald while their sister, Ariana attempted to intervene in the battle but had trouble controlling her powes, much like Credence. Tragically, she was struck down and killed by one of the three wizards. Till this day, no one knows who was directly responsible for Ariana’ death.
“The Secrets of Dumbledore” is the perfect film to finally put this mystery to rest. For years, fans have speculated on who delivered the killing spell. Was it Grindelwald in his blind rage? Was it a stray bolt form Albus or Aberforth? At their funeral, we know that Aberforth broke Albus’ nose and blamed him for their sister’s death. Ever since that fateful duel, Albus has never forgiven himself for Ariana. We can just imagine Grindelwald using Dumbledore’s shame and guilt against him, twisting it like a knife in his heart. It would be so awesome and melacholic to see one of the most iconic duels in the Wizarding World put to screen!
3. The Wizarding World and World War II

During the period in which humanity was engaged in the bloodiest conflict of the 20th century, a global wizarding war was occuring around the same time as well. We heard mentions of it in the “Deathly Hallows” book but it was scant on details. Then, “Crimes of Grindelwald” proceeded to drop a massive bombshell on us. Apparently, Grindelwald in the 1920s was well-aware of the impending war to come. In the Lestrange Family Mausoleum, he showed visions of the Nazis, the holocaust and an atomic bomb dropped. He used the horrors to come to motivate wizards and witches to rise up and save the Muggle world from themselves.
Near the end of World War II, Grindelwald was defeated and sent away to live out his days in Azkaban. Long before the First Wizarding War and the Battle of Hogwarts, there was a magical war that possibly shaped real world events. We would want nothing more than to see how Dumbledore, Grindelwald and other wizards sowed the seeds of humanity’s most devastating war. Did Albus help the Allies? Did Grindelwald collaborate with the Axis forces? There is a secret history of how the Wizarding World influenced the outcome of World War II and we can’t wait to find out!
4. Is Jacob Kowalski a Wizard?

In our mind, Kowalski is a wizard in all but name. He might be a Squib but there’s no way he is just your ordinary No Maj. Don’t believe us? Well, what about his ability to somehow resist the Oblivate spell cast in “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them”. In the very next film, he managed to have all his memories restored of Queenie and Newt. That seems awfully convinient. Now, we see him in the trailer carrying around a wand given to him by Dumbledore. No Majs, or Muggles, are widely known to be unable to use magic, and wands require their users to have that ability to function. Yet, here we are with Kowalski carrying one in “Secrets of Dumbledore”!
Now, Rowling could be adding some extra-canonical (or lore-breaking) details in the film about how No Majs can use a special type of wand to perform magic. It’s more likely, though, that everyone’s favourite baker is actually a secret wizard this whole time. We love Kowalski’s fish-out-of-water perspective as the regular guy but all the hints seem to be imply that he’s got magic in him. Hopefully, Rowling clears this up in the film. Till then, we’re sticking to our guns on Kowalski being a secret wizard.
5. Grindelwald’s True Face
By the time “Secrets of Dumbledore” will be released, we would have had three different actors portray the infamous Dark Wizard. The switch from Colin Farrell to Johnny Depp was a little jarring but it still made sense. He was using human transfiguration to adopt Percival Graves’ identity in an effort to locate Credence. With Mads Mikkelsen taking over Depp’s role though, Grindelwald’s new appearance would definitely be a difficult issue to sidestep. Don’t get us wrong, we think Mikkelsen is a phenomenal choice for Grindelwald. We’re just curious as to how to director David Yates and Rowling plan on addressing Mikkelsen’s transition.
Long before Voldemort appeared on the scene, Grindelwald’s face must have been the most well-known one by every magical authority on the planet. The man was public enemy no. 1. The question is: Did the Depp’s incarnation of Grindelwald alter his appearance to that of Mikkelsen’s to avoid the authorities? Or will Rowling and Yates reveal that Depp’s incarnation was merely a ruse and that Mikkelsen’s version is what his character truly looks like? Then again, they could just clumsily go the “Iron Man 2” route and have everyone awkwardly pretend as if nothing had happened.

These past few months have been a wild roller-coaster ride for Kim Seon Ho (김선호), especially ever since his controversy with his former lover began making the headlines. The shocking scandal had lead to him halting all of his activities, apart from finding himself being dropped from his future projects.
This week, South Korean media outlets reported that Lee Hyun Woo (이현우) and Ahn Bo Hyun (안보현) will be replacing the 35-year-old actor in his upcoming films, namely “Dog Days” and “2pm Date” respectively. In one of the movies, Seon Ho was supposed to be paired with idol-turn-actress YoonA from SNSD.

Earlier today (Tuesday, 14th December), media outlet OSEN claimed that Hyun Woo recently decided to appear in the movie after receiving the script. Helmed by director Kim Deok Min, “Dog Days” tells the story about people connected through dogs getting to know each other, comforting each other, and sharing their hearts at a veterinary hospital.
Apart from the “To The Beautiful You” actor, the stellar line-up of cast members include Kim Yoon Jin, Yoo Hae Jin, Jung Seong-hwa, Kim Seo Hyung as well as rising Hallyu star Tang Jun Sang. Interestingly, Oscar winner Youn Yuh Jung will also be making her appearance in the film.

Meanwhile, it was recently confirmed that Ahn Bo Hyun will be filling in Seon Ho’s place as the lead actor for the movie “2pm Date” (also known as 2 O’Clock Date”). It appears that the production team had decided to drop the latter from the project due to the recent scandal.
In the romantic comedy movie, Bo Hyun will take on the role as a man who lives on the above floor, who ends up developing a romantic interest in his neighbour (YoonA’s character). The film will be directed by Lee Sang Geun. Both him and the girl group member previously worked together in the hit film “Exit”. The film is scheduled to start shooting in April 2022.

Over the weekend, a video went viral showing a shopping mall security guard in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, getting rid of a wild monitor lizard that apparently made its way into the building.

A lot of netizens in the comments section appeared to defend the security guard’s actions. According to them, the helicopter swing and tossing done by the man was necessary to prevent himself from getting bitten by the animal.

“Yes, the helicopter swing is necessary for his own safety,” Twitter user @afqnrmn shared. “The centrifugal force from the swing prevents the lizard from turning its back and bite. The important thing is both got off unharmed in this incident. That is the best he can do with inadequate equipment and people.”
Another internet user was also seen clapping back at the netizen who brought up the allegation. They left a seemingly sarcastic reply which reads, “Then what do you expect the guard to do? Carry it around like a baby? Or maybe put the reptile to sleep?”
