It’s been a big day for updates, and not just for apps. A handful of the Nexus devices have begun to get their OTA updates to Android 5.0 Lollipop bringing them forward to the latest version of the Android software. Along with OTA updates, the factory images appeared for those same devices as well, allowing anyone the ability to flash the factory image of Lollipop if they weren’t keen on waiting for the update to hit their devices over the air. Not all Nexus devices have been included though, and it could be days before we see the updates begin to hit the others. So far today the updates to Lollipop have started rolling out for the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 WiFi for both 2012 and 2013 models, the Nexus 9, and the Nexus 10.
If you’re wondering, what about the Nexus 4 and the LTE models of the Nexus 7 tablets? those haven’t begun to roll out just yet so we’re still waiting on those OTA’s before the factory images pop up. When they do show up, rest assured we’ll let you know. In the meantime, here’s a wrap up of the factory images for all included Nexus devices that you can download as of this very moment.
