Review: Sony Xperia go and Xperia acro S

The Xperia Active was Sony (Ericsson)'s last tough phone with a diminutive waterproof and dustproof body, the only downside was it's relatively weasksauce specs that powered it. Despite that, it was still a favourite with many as a phone to use for running. Sony have upped the toughphone game with the release of the new Xperia go and the Xperia acro S (not to be confused with the Japanese Acro).

First up the go is a 3.5inch 480 x 320 phone that has a dual-core 1GHz processor, 5MP camera and the same wet finger tracking that the Xperia active has. Unfortunately the go is still powered by Gingerbread but Sony says that will change in the future. Even higher up the tech tree, the Xperia acro S has a sexy 4.3Inch 720p screen, 12MP camera, 1.5GHz dual-core processor and also features the wet finger tracking of the Active. The acro S is the global version of the Japan only acro HD.

Both of the phones are water and dust resistant to IP55 and IP57 and will be available in Q3 of 2012.
