Samsung Updates Galaxy S10 Lite With July 2021 Security Update

As days are passing by, more Samsung devices are picking up the latest security update. The most recent device to receive the July 2021 security update launched in early 2020, it’s the Galaxy S10 Lite.

Samsung had already delivered the July 2021 security update to many of its devices, including The Galaxy S10, Z Flip, Fold, S20, S21, Note 10, Note 20, and the S20 FE.

Now, it is time for the most affordable Galaxy S10 device to get the latest security update, the Galaxy S10 Lite. Talking about the update, it is purely incremental in nature.

Meaning that apart from bumping the security patch level to July 2021, it does not include any new features for the device. However, you can expect some system and performance improvements.

This new Galaxy S10 Lite Jjuly 2021 security update includes bug fixes for over 20 vulnerabilities and threats. It also brings fixes for issues related to Bluetooth and Android Auto.

As far as the firmware version of the update is concerned, this latest security update arrives on the Galaxy S10 Lite as G770FXXS4EUF6. Besides, as per SamM obile, the update is currently live for Galaxy S10 Lite users in Spain.

It is expected to expand over to other regions in the coming days. Sadly, the size of the update is not known at the moment. But it is advised that you update your S10 Lite with this security patch, as it fixes multiple issues.

Moreover, you should download the update over a stable Wi-Fi or mobile internet connection to avoid any issues during download or installation.

For users in Spain, the update is live. For those who haven’t received the update notification, you can manually trigger the update check and see if it has gone live for your region or not.

In order to do so, you need to go to “Settings”. Then tap on “Software Update”, and then, hit the “Download and Install” button. If the update is live for your device, then it will begin the installation process.
