The DOOGEE S86 Pro, the S86 rugged phone successor, has been in the news for quite some time.

The built-in temperature check feature with an accuracy range of 0.2 °C is its main feature. With a pandemic currently disrupting life as we know it, it is more important than ever to keep track of your body temperature. S86 Pro eliminates the need to carry an extra thermometer. It can survive a drop of 1.5 m unto concrete and is waterproof at a depth of 1.5 m for 30mins. It can weather extreme temperatures (-20 to 50) and it is also resistant to dust, shock, and humidity.

The display is made of Corning Gorilla Glass, making it resistant to drops and scratches. It is 6.1’’ in size and has a 720×1560 resolution. The 16MP main camera on the back is responsible for taking pictures, while selfies are handled by the 8 MP front camera.

Under the hood, S86 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor with 8 GB RAM and a 128 GB ROM which is expandable to 256 GB using a microSD card. The 8500mAh battery will get you going for 48 hours on a full charge. It also supports quick charging, so you have to worry about spending too much by the charging station.

Other features of this rugged smartphone include glove mode, wet screen mode, NFC, Tri navigational satellite GPS support, custom key, 3-choose-2 SIM card slot, and a toolbox.
