Don't Flip Out Over These Latest Samsung Smartphone Leaks

A new leak has surfaced for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G. The leaks are courtesy of Evan Blass, who shared images of both phones over on his personal Twitter account earlier this morning.

The leaks, or at least the one that shows the image of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G, looks exactly like the phone in another leak that surface earlier this month. Though not the same color as the model in that older leak, it bears the same design along with the two camera sensors. As well as the small front display and LED flash.

S Pen support was once upon a time, only available for Samsung Galaxy Note devices. But Samsung eventually expanded support for the S Pen to some of its other products. Like the Galaxy Tab S line.

It also now looks like the Galaxy Z Fold line will have support for the S Pen with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 3. One of the images in the leak shows a Galaxy Z Fold 3 with an S Pen leaning up against the phone. And it even seems that the S Pen will potentially be a special version meant specifically for this device.

There’s no actual information about the S Pen. There is however a small branding on it that says “Fold Edition.” Which suggests that at the very least, Samsung will be selling these as designed for the Fold line of smartphones.

Worth noting is that S Pen support was also technically confirmed before this leak. As it showed up in an FCC filing earlier this month. So far, this appears to be the second or third color we’ve seen of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G. And the third color of the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Samsung is suspected to be showing off these devices soon. Specifically at the upcoming virtual event it has going for Mobile World Congress on June 28. And with these leaks popping up so close to the event, that may not be too far off. Samsung could also just be using that event as a way to tease the announcements for these devices at a future event. But only time will tell.
