~ MamakTalk ~: Lowe’s 宣布將關閉北美51間門市

近年由於商業大環境改變，許多傳統零售商紛紛關閉門市或宣告破產。如今居家用品零售商Lowe’s也宣布將關閉51家北美分店，包括4間加州分店與2間紐約州門市。

在周一(5日)，Lowe’s宣布將關閉部分表現不佳的門市，包括20間美國門市與31家加拿大門市。這些門市都將在明年2月1日以前關閉。

其中，Lowe’s將關閉南加Aliso Viejo與Irvine門市；北加的舊金山與San Jose門市也將關閉；紐約曼哈頓地區Upper West Side與Chelsea門市也將關閉。

Lowe’s表示公司將替被影響的員工尋找在附近門市的工作機會。

近年來，Lowe’s在與對手Home Depot的競爭中落居下風，也因此在今年稍早Lowe’s也延聘了新執行長Marvin R. Ellison，希望能有一番新作為。
