【林家姐妹花 · 爱心爆满！】林家姐妹Leng Yein & Leng Sean 被邀成为 Animal Food Bank Malaysia的慈善大使！

你的慷慨可使小毛孩们不再饥饿，因为你的善心才能使它们有餐温饱！

大马动物慈善机构目前开放了新的项目- 动物食品银行 Animal Food Bank Malaysia。这由我国善心的保护动物协会所执行的宠物食物银行专案是为了能够帮助许多受难的狗狗并给需要的狗狗提供食物。这个专案是为了储存更多的动物粮食，然而“提款人”，也就是拯救动物人士和动保组织，从银行中“提取”食物来拯救它们。

日前，Animal Food Bank Malaysia（AFB）邀请了大马两位著名姐妹花- DJ Leng Yein 林云和MC Leng Sean 林仙成为动物食品银行的慈善大使！据悉，亚洲顶级女DJ，Leng Yein和其才华横溢的亲妹妹 DJ Leng Sean在平日里当遇见流浪狗或猫时，她们都会给予帮助，无论是在食物方面或者受伤治疗，只要在她们的能力范围里，能帮上的就一定会帮！

此外，Leng Yein 在7个月前，曾上载一段影片表示共有200多只狗狗，而她也因可怜狗狗无家可归，不想它们沦为流浪狗，便在脸书专页体动物们寻找领养人，更呼吁大家能分享出去，她说：“欢迎有心人，可以领养回家。”

林云 Leng Yein 在脸书写下在她接受慈善大使一职后的感言：

“I always thought someone should do something about that… then I realized I am that someone.”

A future where stray dogs and cats are free from starvation? Sounds like a noble plan! This is the dream of our team at Very Important Pet magazine who recently launched Animal Food Bank (AFB). AFB is a charity program that aims to help animal rescuers and shelters feed the needy animals under their care.

This bank, quite unlike the others, stores up pet food and distributes them to the needy ones for free! Food, known as the most basic survival needs of life, is often taken for granted. Many of us are spoilt with the luxury of choice to choose where and what we want to eat.

But, as we bask in such luxury, animal rescuers and shelters struggle to make ends meet by ensuring that they have enough to fill the stomach of the strays under their care, so that the poor little ones don’t go through another chilly night in starvation.

It takes a standard noodle bowl full of kibbles or rice, once a day, to keep a stray animal from hunger. We are talking about feeding not just one, but ten, sometimes hundreds or thousands of them, seven days a week. This is not only a lot of hard work; it is also a heavy burden of monetary commitment.

Realizing our resources are limited, AFB has launched an AFB Ambassadors Recruitment Campaign. This campaign aims to garner support from well known figures and celebrities to join us as AFB ambassador, representing AFB in a series of campaigns to spread and educate the importance of caring for the less fortunate animals in the country.
