Sony developers sent out a survey to all of those running the Concept for Android Marshmallow on Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact handsets late last year, asking how happy were they with the beta and how long they wanted it to go on for. The results were recently released, which you can see below, and it’s quite clear that the Concept programme has received a positive reception with the majority wanting it to go on for as long as possible.
We have reported previously how well the programme has been received, with a responsive developer team, regular updates and a firmware that is both stable, fast and power efficient. We’re yet to see if/how some of this good work translates into the official Android 6.0 firmware for Xperia devices, but hopefully we don’t have to wait too long to find out.
