Xperia M5 hits pre-order in UK; Carphone grabs exclusivity on Gold version

Carphone Warehouse now has the Sony Xperia M5 up for pre-order in the UK. Carphone Warehouse has three colours available to pre-order (black, gold and white), however it has nabbed exclusivity over the gold version. The phone is expected to be released on 8 February 2016.

The handset is only available on pay monthly two-year contracts with prices starting from £14.99 per month and £130 up front (EE) or for £22 per month with no upfront payment (Vodafone). At the moment, the Xperia M5 is not available SIM free or on PAYG (pay-as-you-go).
