Sony to launch “Glass Sound Speaker” in Japan next month for $630

The Sony we know and love is that one that innovates and inspires us with new elegant creations. One recent example of this is the Sony Glass Sound Speaker (LSPX-S1) that was announced at CES earlier this month. This is a 360-degree portable speaker using a tube-shaped organic glass and doubles as a gentle light.

The speaker is Bluetooth enabled, which means you can control your music from your smartphone. The Sony Glass Sound Speaker has now been official announced for the Japanese market where it will hit stores on 13 February at a price point of 74,000 yen (£447, €579, $634). A US launch is also expected by this summer.
