Sony Store US website to stop taking orders on 28 August 2015

Sony has already closed all of its retail stores in the USA, apart from its flagship showroom on 550 Madison Avenue in New York City. Well now the Sony Store website is set to follow suit as Sony has announced it will stop taking orders at 13.00 PST on 28 August 2015.

Sony will be introducing a new product website at some point later, which will allow users to purchase from Sony’s authorised dealers rather than the company directly. Sony has a list of FAQs about the change here, the main thing to note is that if you have any Sony gift cards then you will need to use these before the 28 August.
