Samsung has already released their Galaxy S6 flagships back in March, which makes the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 phablet the most anticipated Samsung-branded device this year. We’ve seen a ton of Galaxy Note 5 leaks thus far, and a new set of renders just popped up. These Note 5 renders come from the same designer who released the Moto G renders we’ve shared with you a couple of days ago. Speaking of which, you can purchase the model from the designer for $40 if you follow the source link down below. These renders are based on the Note 5 CAD drawings which leaked earlier. Anyhow, let’s take a look at what’s new, shall we.
If you take a look at the gallery down below you’ll notice quite a few Galaxy Note 5 renders. The phablet sports really thin side bezels and looks quite sleek overall. You’ll notice quite a few sensors located next to the speaker grill, especially on its left side, while a front-facing camera is placed on its right side. The Galaxy Note 5 once again sports a physical home button below the display, while the ‘overview’ multitasking and back buttons are located on its sides. The loud speaker seems to be located on the bottom side of the Galaxy Note 5, same goes for the charging port, 3.5mm audio jack and the S Pen stylus. The power / lock button is located on the Note 5’s right-hand side, and the volume rocker buttons are placed on the phone’s left side.
According to previous rumors, the Galaxy Note 5 will sport a 5.67-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM and that it will ship with a 4,000+mAh battery. The phablet will reportedly going to be powered by Samsung’s very own Exynos 7422 64-bit octa-core SoC, which is actually an all-in-one solution by this Korean tech giant. The Exynos 7422 packs in the 64-bit SoC, GPU, RAM, storage and Samsung’s Shannon LTE model. Android 5.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed on Samsung’s newest phablet with the company’s TouchWiz UI placed on top of it. The Galaxy Note 5 will be made out of metal, well, at least partially.
That being said, the device will quite probably arrive during IFA in Berlin this September, though keep in mind that some rumors have stated that it might launch sooner than that, mentioning August instead of September. Either way, stay tuned for more info.
