If you’ve ever had to clean windows, you know what an aggravation that particular “beloved” chore happens to be. It’s messy, it’s easy to get streaks everywhere even if you’re the fussiest person possible, and it’s generally an unpleasant task you wish they’d just invent a robot for already. And they’re hard at work on said robot, but in the meantime, you can at least get a tool that does the job better from, of all companies, Hammacher Schlemmer.
Window Clean
It’s actually a brilliant design: It’s a squeegee with a vacuum in it. Seriously. That’s it. But if you think about it, that’s all it needs.
Operation, of course, is simple. Apply the cleaner, which can be laid on using the included spray bottle, and pull down with the neoprene blades. While you’re pulling, press the button and the wet-vac in the handle sucks up the excess. Clean windows, no drips, everyone’s happy.
Clear View
Yes, it is probably not healthy to be this obsessive over a basic task of cleaning the house. On the other hand, have you ever seen streaks? Damn those things are annoying. Now, granted, this being Hammacher, you’ve got to ask yourself if they’re so annoying you’re willing to part with $80. But if they are that annoying to you, it might be the best $80 you ever spent.
