Yes, I know I’m mixing up hashtags for brands but this is a great example of making something as cold as tech feel for human and personal. Though I guess majority of Cortana enabled devices are still Nokia branded. Anyway…
Some redditors have shared Cortana’s responses to either being sick or feeling sad. The responses are sweet and really empathic.
In contrast, Siri seems to go down the robotic/pragmatic/literal route. Having an integration of both might be helpful (though it would be nice if somehow Cortana had a built in triage system. It’s very easy to automate. It doesn’t take over a healthcare professional but it does help point someone to the right type of medical help with the correct level of urgency).
LensCrafters appears to be makers of eye-glasses/spectacles, not really a medical doctor.
The worst response was from Google Now on my Note 4 which was basically a search result, including something unrelated.
It doesn’t give you the expected response that either Cortana or Siri gave.
It’s in this instance that I welcome getting Cortana on all platforms.
