Xiaomi started this year with a bang, this China-based smartphone vendor has announced a bunch of smart gadgets back in January. The company has announced the Redmi 2, Mi Note and Mi Note Pro devices, along with a bunch of smart gadgets and what not. That being said, the Mi Note has been available in China for quite some time now. The Mi Note Pro, on the other hand still isn’t available, but the company is expected to offer that handset for sale soon as well. As you might recall, Xiaomi has announced a special bamboo version of the Mi Note about a week ago. The handset was listed for pre-order until now, that period is now over and the phone is available in China. What’s the difference between the original Mi Note and this special bamboo version? Well, the bamboo back cover, that’s about it. The phone even carries the same price point as the original. Pricing starts at 2,299 Yuan, and the handset is available in both 16 and 64GB versions.
