Ever heard of HTC's Re Camera? It's a camera that focus on selfies and some casual action shots.
We noticed this device from HTC was approved from SIRIM Malaysia's certification recently. This means it will be sold in our local market soon. Based on its price in the US, HTC is likely to set the Re Camera price around RM700.
This unique looking device was announced a month ago, it looks just like a periscope. There's a button located at the back and the micro SD slot and charging slot are situated at the bottom.
It sports a 16 megapixel Sony camera with f/2.8 aperture that has a 146 degree wide angle lens.
The Re Camera is also a water resistant device that is rated at IPX7. For those who wanted to submerge deeper, an addon case increase the water resistant level to IPX8.
The camera also has the ability to take still shots. Besides that, it can record Full HD videos in 30 fps or HD videos up to 120fps.
The 820 mAh on board battery is capable to take 1,200 photos or 1 hour 40 minutes long video. It supports Android and iOS devices.
