Meizu has launched their latest flagship, Meizu MX4, in September and has sold tons of units since then. This company has also announced 2 additional versions of that smartphone recently, Meizu MX4 Gold and Silverwing edition, but everyone is waiting for something else. The phone I’m talking about is Meizu MX4 Pro which has been intensively for the past few weeks, even months. Meizu’s VP has confirmed that the device will launch in November and the company has announced a press event on November 19th, which is quite possibly MX4 Pro event, even though they didn’t specifically say that. We’ve seen a ton of renders of this handset, the latest one arrived yesterday and showed off phone’s front side as well as the fingerprint sensor located below the screen which will allegedly be push activated. We’ve already seen this handset’s specifications as well, they first leaked on GFXBench and were later confirmed by a retailer OppoMart.
This time around we have yet another leaked listing of the phone. This listing just confirms the renders we’ve seen thus far (including the one from yesterday), as well as phone’s specifications. The listed price for the device is $549.99, which leads us to believe this is an international retailer listing and I bet the price will be even lower internationally, not to mention in China. According to the rumors, the price of this handset in China will be around 2499 Yuan, which is around $409. We, of course, can’t confirm the legitimacy of this listing, but it just confirmed everything we’ve heard and see thus far.
As far as specifications go, this listing, as well as GFXBench and OppoMart state the following… Meizu MX4 Pro will feature a 5.5-inch 2K display along with 3GB of RAM and 16, 32 and 64GB of internal storage. 20.7-megapixel rear-facing and 2-megapixel front-facing shooter (Sony’s sensors) will be a part of this device and the handset will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat with Flyme OS on top of it. Meizu MX4 Pro will come in Black and White colors and will sport a 4G LTE connectivity. 3100mAh battery will ship with this handset and the device will reportedly measure 144 x 75.2 x 8.9mm and weight 147 grams. November 19th seems to be the date Meizu will launch this thing, stay tuned.
