We have heard rumors that October 15th could be the day we finally get to officially see the HTC-made Nexus 9, and we just got further confirmation, and a bonus….the price. BSN is reporting that Google will introduce the Nexus 9 on October 15, but unfortunately it won’t be available until November 3rd for $399
That is contrary to what we have seen in recent years. Generally, when Google introduces a new device, it’s available for order the same day or at least the next day.
The $399 price point is a little higher than I was expecting too. I was thinking it would come in at $349, and hopeful for $299. The Nexus 9 will include premium specs, but Google usually prices their devices competitively. Although not overpriced, I wouldn’t say it’s a great price.
We are less than a week away from HTC’s first tablet in a few years. Are you guys excited for this one? I have to be honest here and say the 4:3 form factor has me a little concerned.
