Today we have a series of new devices and features coming from Sony, HTC and even Tinder. Will you be swiping right or left on these?

Sony Xperia E3 listed at only $139.99

Looking for a good phone that won’t break the bank? A new device from Sony has just shown up at popular retailer Expansys’ website, with a price point that you simply won’t believe.

It’s priced at a mere $139.99 and packs a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, a 4.5-inch 854x480p display, a 5 MP rear-facing camera and a VGA front shooter.

Opinion: Those specs are not half bad for the price. In fact, the phone is right up there with the Moto E, which is priced similarly. You may very well prefer Sony’s design and build quality.

T-Mobile and Verizon HTC One M8 devices getting EYE experience

While your HTC One M8 will never get those dual 13 MP cameras in the Desire Eye, it will be getting HTC’s new EYE experience. This includes a series of features, including face tracking, screen sharing, split capture, Face Fusion, Live Makeup, Crop Me In, Voice Selfie and more.

While we thought carrier versions of the HTC One M8 would be late to the party, it seems HTC is ready to start spreading the love. T-Mobile HTC One M8s have been getting the update today, while we can expect Verizon’s to get it sometime tomorrow (they are aiming for mid-day).

Opinion: I never thought Verizon’s version would be among the first to get this update. This comes less than a month after the update hit the unlocked versions. Surprising, if you ask me.

Tinder soon to offer premium, paid features

Tinder has been home to hoping daters and new relationships all over the world, but it can expand past what it has brought the community. At some point the app has to grow, and the company hass to become more aggressive with cash, though.

In an interview with Forbes, Tinder CEO Sean Rad states they are getting ready to take the next step and will soon add premium features to the Tinder apps. These features will cost extra and should be coming early November.

Opinion: While details were scarce, Rad explains one of the features will focus on travel. This makes us believe they are planning to let us break away from our location to find people. Users have been using hacks and tricks to accomplish this so far, meaning there is definitely a demand for this feature. One they can monetize from.
