The E FUN Nextbook Windows 2-in-1 tablet may not have the best name in the market, but it will sure rock your socks with its stunning price point. This little guy will be priced at only $179!
That’s a price that will definitely make an impression, especially considering the device runs full Windows 8.1. This makes it a computer, capable of running full desktop programs (those the specs can handle, of course).
What can under $200 get you, though? It’s not an amazing computer, but it’s a pretty good tablet. Either way, we can’t complain much with that price, but let’s take a look at the specs.
E FUN Nextbook Windows 2-in-1 specs
- Windows 8.1 OS
- 1.83 GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor
- 10.1-inch 1280×800 IPS display
- 1 GB of RAM
- 32 GB of internal storage
- MicroSD card support for up to 64 GB of expandable storage
- WiFi 802.11 b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, a micro USB port, mini HDMI port and audio jack
- 2 MP rear-facing camera
- 0.3 MP front-facing camera
- 6000 mAh battery
Once again, this is not the Windows tablet of the year, but its functionality as a mini laptop makes it a great buy. We must also point out that it does come with a keyboard dock (a la ASUS Transformer Book), which does give it an extra push in battery life.
My only complaint here is that it only has 1 GB of RAM, which is quite a disappointment by today’s standards even for a low-end device. This doesn’t really break the deal, though.
We used this tablet at IFA 2014 and have to say we were pretty surprised. The one we used at the conference was named Odys WinDesk X10, but it’s made by the same OEM – Yifang Digital.
