Sometimes a light switch isn’t exactly in a great place where it’s easy access. For cases like this, the Avi-on Bluetooth dime switch is perfect! You just literally stick it to any wall you’d like without having to worry about creating holes or having someone come over and do the wiring for you.
Controls A Number of Devices
You can use the dimmer switch to control various GE-branded Bluetooth devices like all of their Smart Bulbs and indoor and outdoor plugs. You don’t need any special hub to control it all and the company even claims that the switch’s battery will last for many years.
You Can Still Use Your Smartphone
And the great thing about the special dimmer switch is that you can still use your smartphone if you wish. Avi-on will have both iOS and Android apps for users who want to control it with their phone and the app includes cool features like timers, scheduling and smart device grouping so you can us it with other smart home devices you own.
You Can’t Buy It Yet
If it sounds great and you’re getting ready to head out the door to get one, you’re going to have to put down your keys because the product isn’t quite ready yet. It’s still in its development phase and Avi-on is currently looking for funds with a crowd funding campaign. But it will go into production at the end of this year. Get one for the early rid price of $59 for the switch and GE dimmer plug or buy a complete kit for small homes for $399.
