Today we have some awesome Motorola news for you. You may be able to get your new Moto X soon! OnePlus is not staying behind in the accessory race, either.

Verizon 2nd generation Moto X launching tomorrow

Those waiting for the 2nd generation Moto X to come to Verizon won’t have to sit around for long. Big Red has just announced they are launching the new Moto X tomorrow, September 26th. This applies to both in-store and online sales, as well as Moto Maker.

Customers can get th 16 GB version for only $99.99 on a 2-year contract. For a limited time, you can also get the Bamboo version for $99.99. The only version that would cost more is the 32 GB customizable one, which goes for $149.99. You could also go for Verizon’s EDGE payment plans.

Opinion: The Moto X is one beast of a phone. I am having a hard time stopping myself from getting one, to be honest.

Motorola ends original Moto X sales

Motorola is not wasting any time. The company seems to have started phasing out the original Moto X, as it is no longer available from Moto Maker. Instead, Motorola is recommending that you check out the new Moto X.

In case you have missed the news, the new handset offers a better build quality, a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 13MP/2MP cameras and more.

Opinion: You will certainly love the new Moto X as much as you loved the original one, and likely even more. I fell in love with it the first time I held it.

OnePlus launching Silver Bullet earphones

The OnePlus One customized backs may have been canceled, but the Chinese manufacturer is not giving up accessories. In fact, they have just announced a pair of headphones, which is an odd product for a company like OnePlus to make. Can they make sound work as well as their smartphones do?

OnePlus claims these offer great sound with “fluid transitions from treble to mid-range frequencies with dynamic bass response.” They are definitely well-built, made of brushed aluminum. They are meant to look and sound good, while being very resistant.

These will be available to order starting next week for just $14.99. Not a bad deal for a solid pair of headphones.

Opinion: These certainly look good, but I love my good sound and must test these before passing judgement. I think I will be signing up for these as soon as they go up for sale.
