[Review] NEW - HTC ONE X+ AND HTC 8X

Remember that HTC announced that they would be hosting an event on 19 September 2012? Only 9 more days to the event and it looks like news are starting to roll out as to what the company will be unveiling. According to a Twitter user Football4PDA, a reputable XDA developer, HTC will be announcing two flagship models – the HTC One X+ Android Jelly Bean device and the HTC Windows Phone 8X.

HTC One X+ is as its name suggest, an improved version of the existing One X. It is reported to run on Android 4.1 JB and will be packed with the latest quad-core Tegra 3 AP37 chipset with a 1.6GHz processor, capable of running at 1.7GHz in a single core mode. According to the Tweet, it will have 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a dimension measuring 134.36 x 69.9 x 9.3mm (possibly hinting a 5" size with a HD display), and weighs 129g. It is also expected to run on HTC Sense 4.5 UI.
The HTC 8X on the other hand, is based on Windows Phone 8. It comes with a 4.3" HD display and runs on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Other specs includes 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP camera with 28mm wide angle lens and bring t, F2.0 aperture and 1080p video, ultra-wide angle front camera, NFC, and of course, Beats Audio.
Are you excited to see what HTC has to offer next Wednesday?
