Truth to be told, it is really just a matter of time before Apple fesses up and officially unveils the next iPhone - fondly referred to by many as iPhone 5 - to consumers. Judging from the invite (as shown above) that the company has just sent to media outfits throughout the globe, that is exactly what will happen on 12 September* at San Francisco.
However, some rumours have stated that the new iPhone will not be the only one to be revealed at the event though. A new and smaller 7-inch iPad has been touted to be the co-star of Apple's event on 12 September. Well, let's see what will happen on that day then.
