It is a known fact that all of us crave hanging out in malls in the midst. The buzz of people and the assortment of outlets to buy things from would definitely send a rush of euphoria tingling throughout our nerves. With that being said, our country is set to open a Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport outlet later this year!
The best part?
This outlet would be the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. It is said that the LaLaport KL retail project is a joint venture between Mitsui Fudosan Asia and Bukit Bintang Convention Centre (BBCC) Development Sdn. Bhd. with a total built-up area of 1.4 million square feet, This is a huge project, indeed!
Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport which would be located in Bukit Bintang is expected to be opened to the general public by the end of the year and it is deemed to be a new centre of attraction for Malaysians and tourists alike. Functioning as a one-stop retail destination to the local community, it will have direct access to the LRT and KL Monorail stations too. The existence of a pedestrian deck to the MRT station would facilitate the movement of tourists in a safer way.
Some background information regarding LaLaport; it is known to be Mitsui’s flagship outlet with outlets in Shanghai and Japan too! In case you didn’t know, the Japan outlet has been famous for over 39 years and counting.
As of now, the shopping park is under major construction but we’re already stoked for its major announcement! Let’s just hope the Covid-19 situation in Malaysia improves soon so that we could finally get to experience fun in a post-pandemic environment.
