Ubisoft+ Hits Six New Regions As Rainbow Six Siege Comes To Stadia

Stadia

Ubisoft has been one of the main supporting studios of Stadia since the very beginning, and it’s preparing to launch a cavalcade of new games on the platform including Rainbow Six Siege.

As one of the bigger studios, Stadia sees a fair amount of both new and old AAA games from Ubisoft. While some of these have had proper releases on Stadia, many of them are available through Ubisoft+. The Studios subscription-based service that allows you access to a catalogue of game titles for one set monthly price.

Today Ubisoft has announced that the Ubisoft+ beta is extending its reach to six new regions. Which means there are going to be a lot more Stadia players for some of Ubisoft’s best games soon.

From today, Ubisoft+ is expanding to Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, and Switzerland. What’s more is that the price to subscribe to Ubisoft+ is staying the same across the board. So while it’s $14.99 in the US, it’ll be €14.99 in Europe.

Rainbow Six Siege lands on Stadia soon

Right now there is no confirmed release date for Rainbow Six Siege on Stadia, but it is coming soon. Ubisoft is staying pretty tight lipped about the launch, but it did state that it has more details to share about the release at its Ubisoft Forward event on June 12. Which will be its showcase for E3.

As for the other games coming to Stadia, there are 8 more titles to look forward to. This includes a handful of new Assassin’s Creed games like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Rogue, and Assassin’s Creed III Remastered.

There’s also Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Rayman Legends, and Child Of Light.

Further down the road Ubisoft is reiterating the release date of the latest title in the Far Cry franchise, Far Cry 6. The game will officially launch on October 7 of this year after a lengthy delay. While Ubisoft didn’t mention in its announcement whether or not that date would include Stadia, the game is coming to Stadia.

Worth noting is that past Ubisoft games have also launched on Stadia day and date with other platforms. Like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla last year.
