在过去的影片里Blake Mitchell曾提过这个圈子真爱难寻，很多人会因为他的GV身份有目的性接近或是投以异样眼光评判他，所幸在2018年底前遇上现任男友Chad，26岁的男友是名发型设计师，接纳他的男优身份并给他满满的爱，让Blake Mitchell成为最幸福的GV男优。

虽然现在的他幸福美满，但在幸福来临前有过无数黑暗时光，过去就曾因为双性恋性向这点被两边族群排挤，这个性向让他在圈内饱受争议，尽管行为坦荡却还是被流言蜚语伤害，有些男同志不认同他、有些异性恋不觉得他是直男，曾有段时间因此而困惑、难受的他已经走出，虽然要被接受不容易但他清楚知道自己要先接受自己，他把这些经历放入影片中跟众人畅谈，希望帮助那些有相同困扰的人。

除了聊过去曾因双性恋身份被排挤这件事外，Blake Mitchell也有聊到为什么比起拍AV他更常拍GV，因为
拍GV的价码比较好w
虽然Blake Mitchell现在的作品多以GV为主，但他并不排斥拍AV，或许未来某一天他会加重AV比例也不一定。
