Vysor App Can Mirror Your Phone’s Interface To A Computer

If you look hard enough, you’ll find a number of applications in the Google Play Store which are capable of sending your smartphone notifications to your PC / Mac. There are also apps which are popular for file sharing options between a PC / Mac and a smartphone. Well, let’s take that a step further, shall we, what if you could have your whole Android display mirrored to your PC / Mac while you’re working (or doing something else), that way you can keep track of what’s happening on your phone with a glance to your monitor. Sounds interesting? Well, read on.

Vysor is a new app which landed to the Google Play Store, and it’s quite useful. This app basically connects to a Chrome plugin in order to mirror your phone’s display on your PC / Mac. The app takes advantage of the Android Debug Bridge in order to make this possible, and some of you might already be familiar with this app. This functionality has been available for quite some time now, but you needed to install the app on your phone through ADB, well, no more, the app is now officially available in the Google Play Store and it makes the whole process quite painless, to say the least. Now, as already mentioned, you’ll need to install the plugin from the Chrome Store in order for this app to work, it’s quite useless otherwise. After you download both the app and the web plugin, you’ll need to connect your phone to your computer via USB, and the app will then walk you through the process of pairing two devices.

Vysor is free to download and use, but in case you’d like to take advantage of all of its options, you’ll need to pay up, of course. The ‘Pro’ version of this app can be purchased for $1.99 per month, or $9.99 per year. Vysor Pro, amongst other things, lets you drag and drop files from one device to the other, and gives you various wireless capabilities, so that might be worth it for some of you.
