Xperia X pre-order offers coming soon; new promo video released

Sony Mobile has been sending out emails today to those who had pre-registered their interest in the Xperia X family of smartphones. Sony confirms that ‘exclusive’ pre-order offers will be available on the Xperia X/XA and Xperia Ear from the Xperia Store. Sony is keeping tight-lipped on what these offers are, but all will become clear once pre-orders shortly open.

The same email is also giving users a first look at the latest Xperia X promotional advert. The video concentrates on the camera and focuses on the Predictive Hybrid Autofocus feature, which automatically tracks a subject, predicting its next move, keeping the subject in focus the entire time. Sony says that the Xperia X is its speediest smartphone camera yet, taking 0.6 seconds to take a photo via the quick-launch button and fast image processing.
