These are the typical couple activities that we would always do whenever we are down in Singapore – shopping, eating, sightseeing and enjoying some beautiful night views.
Day 1:
Start your day by taking a stroll at the Supertree Grove in Gardens by the Bay. Be prepared to stand in awe in front of the amazing tree-like vertical gardens that measure between 25 and 50 metres tall.

Enjoy a dip in temperature as you enter the Flower Dome. It is the largest glass greenhouse in the world as listed in the 2015 Guinness World Records!

There are thousands of flowers, plant species as well as rare and exotic trees from many continents. The flowers and plant displays keep changing according to themes and season.
For lunch, head over to Pollen, a one-Michelin-starred chef, Jason Atherton’s second venture in Singapore. Pollen features Mediterranean-inspired Modern European cuisine. We like the fact that there were a whole lot of ingredients and flavours being featured in the dishes.

Enjoy the bustling and busy area of Chinatown after lunch. Handpick one or two souvenirs from hundreds of stalls selling everything from silk robes to lucky cats.

Have dinner at Lau Pa Sat, a hawker centre located in the midst of Singapore’s vibrant financial district. Here, you can try all the local delicacies such as chicken rice, satay and kaya toast under one roof.

Visit the Merlion Park that houses Singapore’s national icon, the Merlion. This famous statue is well known throughout the world.
Long day? Unwind at the The Lighthouse Restaurant & Rooftop Bar, Fullerton Hotel where you can enjoy creative cocktails and appetisers.
It offers a lovely ambience and commands one of the most mesmerizing views of the city.

Day 2:
Kickstart your morning with a satisfying breakfast at Ya Kun Kaya Toast. They serve the best kaya toast in Singapore! This type of breakfast is common in any Singaporean’s childhood in traditional coffee shops.

Enjoy browsing through hundreds of retail stalls selling fashion items, tourist knickknacks and food at the Bugis Street Market.

What about some alternative shopping at Haji Lane? Think Le Marais in Paris or New York’s Meatpacking District. Enjoy treasure hunting at one of the many stores selling locally designed pieces and unique, quirky pieces.

Take a breather by enjoying some Japanese-inspired desserts at KARAFURU desserts. The exquisitely assembled eclairs and Greek yoghurt dessert plates are really enjoyable.

It doesn’t take a pro photographer to be able to find Instagram worthy spots in the newly opened Singapore’s National Gallery. Housed in two of the island’s most iconic colonial buildings, the National Gallery features a large collection of south-east Asian art, drawing on a collection of 8,000 works.

A must visit destination for tourists to Singapore, Clarke Quay is a unique, landmark that play host to a wide range of restaurants, live music bars and entertainment spots. Enjoy the stroll at the quayside and have dinner at one of the many restaurants by the riverside.
One of the reasons why we enjoy visiting Singapore is due to our seamless experience at Changi Airport. There are no lack of free things to do at the airport, from catching a free movie at the theatre, get moving with Kinect Sports, to taking a stroll at the Sunflower Garden and Cactus Garden.
