A new Sony Xperia has leaked courtesy of Evan Blass (@evleaks) ahead of MWC. The model, which is codenamed PP10, looks like a mid-ranger to us. Our understanding is that at least one model released tomorrow will use the MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) chipset with a 720p display. The new devices will also run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The handset shows what looks like a brushed metal back, although this could just be a plastic effect. The model also has the fingerprint sensor of the Xperia Z5 series and dedicated camera button. It looks like Sony is using slightly newer UI as the lock screen hasn’t been seen before, sliding over the wallpaper underneath. Less than 24 hours to find out the full details at Sony’s press conference tomorrow morning.
