Xperia Z5 Premium now available in Taiwan; receives first firmware update (32.0.A.6.170)

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is now available to buy in Taiwan, earlier than initially expected. The Xperia Z5 Premium E6853 variant has seen a limited launch in the region, with those that pre-booked already picking up their handsets. The models with the greater ‘mirror’ affect, such as the Chrome version, appear to be most in demand.

Interestingly, for that did manage to pick up the Xperia Z5 Premium, Sony has a day-one firmware update available via PC Companion. The update moves the firmware build number from 32.0.A.6.115 to version 32.0.A.6.170 and brings largely performance enhancements. The Xperia Z5 Premium should see a wider launch globally from the middle of this month.
