Banking is an important thing that we all must do to prevent from spending money that we don’t have. Luckily most of the banks have Android apps that make it easier to stay on top of your accounts. There are also a few banking apps that make budgeting your cash a bit easier. Let’s have a look at a few of those apps.
Bank of America
For those of you that use Bank of America, this is a great app to use. It allows you to check your accounts, transfer money between them, and even use your fingerprint sensor to login to the app. Something other banks need to add to their app. Being able to check up on all of your accounts through Bank of America from the app is definitely a good thing.
PayPal
Many of us use PayPal these days, whether its for selling stuff on eBay and Swappa or buying stuff, or even sending money to friends. It’s a very popular service, and their app is a necessity. The app allows you to check your account, edit options for your MasterCard Debit card as well as transferring money to your bank account. Of course, you can also view transactions on your account.
HSBC Mobile Banking
Those of you that use HSBC for your banking needs, they also have their own app. While it’s not the best looking app around, it is good enough to do what you need it to do. With the HSBC Mobile Banking app, you are able to check your account, as well as transfer money and pay bills. You can also open up a new account through the HSBC Mobile Banking app.
US Bank
If you use US Bank for banking or for credit cards, this is a necessary app as well. It’s nice being able to view your credit card and debit card transactions all in the same app, without needing to use separate apps to do so. US Bank also allows you to transfer money between apps and pay your credit cards through the app.
Citizen’s Bank
Much like these others that are here, Citizen’s Bank allows you to view your transactions and balances of your bank accounts. The app also allows you to pay bills, and send money to people, even outside of Citizen’s Bank. There is also a way to deposit a check using the app and the camera on your phone. Which is a pretty neat feature and actually works really well.
Mint: Personal Finance & Money
Even if you aren’t poor, budgeting is a good thing. It helps to ensure that you have some money set aside for a rainy day and that’s exactly what Mint does. It can securely pull in your transactions and bills from banks, insurance companies, credit card companies and more. And analyze how much you’re spending in certain areas and help you spend less.
Ally Mobile Banking
If you’re an Ally Bank user, the Ally Mobile Banking app is a great choice to use as well. Of course, you could always use the mobile website, but often times the app gives a better experience. You can view all of your accounts, as well as transfer money between Ally and non-Ally accounts without any additional fees.
TD Bank
With the TD Bank app, you are able to locate the nearest ATM as well as branches, in case you need to speak to someone or get a cashier’s check. You can also check up on your accounts and even deposit checks through the app, which is a huge help when you don’t have time to go to a ATM or a branch.
BillGuard
This is sort of like the Mint app listed further app, with BillGuard you can keep track of all of your bills and see when they are due. As well as how much of your income is used by these bills. Definitely useful information. The app can also protect your cards – both debit and credit – from fraudulent charges.
Chase Mobile
With the Chase app, much like a few of the others here, you can keep on top of your credit cards as well as your banking accounts all within the same app. Chase also includes mobile check deposit. Simply take a picture of the front and back of the check and you can deposit it without heading to an ATM or a local branch. Definitely handy.
