Off to Bangkok soon? Taking a taxi from the airport is not your only option. It’s cheap and easy to get to the heart of the Thai capital by public transport from Don Mueang International Airport if your destination is close to a BTS Skytrain or MRT station.
The A1 Express Bus picks up passengers right outside the arrival hall and stops at the entrance to two stations: the Mo Chit BTS station (N8 on the Sukhumvit Line) and the Chatuchak MRT station.

After alighting from the bus, go down the subway for the MRT or go up the elevated platform for the BTS. It’s best to have small change ready for the ticket machines.
