Xperia C5 Ultra announced: Highest screen-to-phone ratio in a Sony Xperia device

Sony has unveiled the Xperia C5 Ultra (E5553, E5506) and Xperia C5 Ultra Dual (E5533, E5563), which offers the smallest bezels yet seen in an Xperia device. It also surpasses long-time screen-to-phone ratio champ, the Xperia ZL, offering a ratio of 75.93% versus 74.97% for the ZL.

The Xperia C5 Ultra comes with a “near borderless” 6-inch (1080 x 1920) display, 13MP front and rear cameras, 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6752 Octa-core chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and a 2930 battery.

The handset has dimensions of 164.2 x 79.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs 187 grams. The phone will launch in three colours (Black, White and Mint) when it is released in mid-August across select emerging market regions.
