LG G4 is one of the hottest smartphones around at the moment. LG’s latest flagship was released back in April, and is currently available for purchase all over the world. The LG G4 is a step up compared to the LG G3, but the phone does resemble its predecessor a whole lot. The G4 is ever so slightly curved, not as much as the G Flex 2, but still noticeable. The phone comes in a number of different variants sporting different back cover options, including plastic, ceramic and leather.
One of the best features of LG’s latest flagship is its 16-megapixel OIS camera which sports f/1.8 aperture, in other words, the G4’s camera lets in up to 80% more light than the 13-megapixel snapper used in the G3. The Laser Autofocus is back once again here, and you also get a dual-LED, dual tone flash next to the camera sensor.
That begin said, LG G4 can take really decent shots, no matter if we talk about photos or videos. Well, the company has actually decided to prove that and promote their new phone at the same time by partnering up with various YouTube stars. This Korean tech giant has partnered up with 5 YouTube celebrities / teams whose job is to create entertaining videos using G4’s 16-megapixel shooter. A number of videos can already be found on LG Mobile’s YouTube channel (source link down below) in case you’d like to check them out.
Which YouTubers have decided to take the challenge? LG has partnered up with Alex Chacon, Barbixas, Dude Perfect, Felipe Neto and OHA Diyorum. Alex Chacon took the LG G4 on a tour across the US where he captured some awesome selfie shots and similar scenes. The Barbixas, a three-man team, are based in Brazil, and the shot a behind-the-scenes reel using the G4. Dude Perfect has partnered up with Paul Rabil, a famous lacrosse player, and the two have shown the world what G4’s camera can do. Felipe Neto has created a video about selfies, and he has also shared some tips and trips how to use the G4 to capture the perfect selfie. The last, but not least, OHA Diyorum. This duo from Turkey has created a video about football and eating Baklava believe it or not.
“Our YouTube partners and supporters play an important role in communicating the great things about the LG G4 to regular consumers. The creative ideas are theirs, the words are theirs and there’s no script. That’s what makes our YouTube partners’ impression of the LG G4 so authentic.” said Chris Yie, Vice President and Head of Marketing Communications for LG’s mobile operations.
