Just like the titular holiday, this summer Black Friday isn’t actually just ONE day as the name suggests. We’ve got 48 hours to snatch up all the worthwhile deals. But which deals are worth grabbing? You don’t have to wait in a tent line in the bitter cold to find out – we’ve got you covered.
The discounts on Apple computers and peripherals constitute a bit of a running joke among deal hunters. “Sweet, I just saved $30 on an iPad – now I can buy an adapter cable to charge it AND have a dollar to spare!” Humor aside, this IS Black Friday in July, and so the discounts are more compelling. Perhaps the biggest deal is on a 27-inch Apple iMac with 5K display for $1,800 – $200 less than what you’d pay normally. Or, if you’re more of a PC person, you can get 4/5ths of the way there pixel-wise with a Toshiba Radius 4K laptop for under a grand. And for those less enamored with resolution alone, there are a handful of great deals on laptops for under half a grand that offer solid performance for the price – even a 11.6-inch Asus Atom for $130 for those who only use a computer for the basics.
Gamers aren’t left out in the cold, either. If you weren’t eager about your FPS prospects on the $130 Atom-powered laptop, read on – there are discounts on a slew of gaming deals, including nearly half a dozen deals on Xbox One bundles with $50 gift cards.
