Steve Jobs is getting a second biopic since his sudden death in 2011. The first film, 2013’s Jobs, starring Ashton Kutcher, didn’t do very well with critics. Original Apple employee Bill Hernandez talked to Dice and described Jobs as “the biggest, flashiest piece of fan fiction that there’s been to date.”
English director Danny Boyle, who is famous for movies such as 28 Days Later, Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting, and Sunshine, will give it another go this year with his film Steve Jobs, which stars the very talented Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs. And the make-up artists have done a hell of a job turning Fassbender into the great tech tycoon.

Steve Jobs will focus on the early days of Apple, all the way back to its conception. The official website’s synopsis reads:
“Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.”
The screenplay is written by Aaron Sorkin (The Newsroom, The West Wing)and based on Walter Isaacson’s biography, also titled Steve Jobs.
Steve Jobs arrives on October 9, 2015, four days after the fourth anniversary of Steve Jobs’ death.
