The Witcher 3 has officially been live on PC as earlier as last night. Sure the release date was May 19th, but the actual date appears to be May 19th at midnight in Poland, the home of CD Projek Red, so the game actually went live at 3pm Pacific in the US. For those who didn’t pre-order and missed out on the 10% instant discount to $53.99 you didn’t miss much. Three PC gaming retailers are offering discounts up to 30% off this release day.

Is The Witcher 3 worth it? The hype on this game has been enormous and while most of the reviews sites have yet to report in the early reviews are quite positive. Metacritic has the PS4 version averaging an impressive 92/100 score after 36 critic reviews. In terms of PC’s version? Gamers interested will have to wait as reviews are still pending – it appears review codes haven’t yet made their way to reviewers quite yet.
