Microsoft’s own Office Lens app is one of their most popular apps on the Windows Phone store (although it doesn’t have much competition), and they’re finally getting around to bringing the useful scanner app to other platforms.
Office Lens works like similar scanner apps in the Play Store where you can quickly snap a photo of a receipt or other important document, and the app stores it safely in your OneNote storage. It’s quick and easy, and great for anyone that’s invested in Microsoft’s ecosystem, whether that’s for OneDrive, Microsoft Office, or any other number of things. It may not have more features than other similar apps, but the OneNote integration is nice.
The app is currently rolling out on Apple’s App Store, but it’s open in beta if you’re willing to test it out on Android. Hit the link below to check it out.
