Lenovo is one of the biggest and most popular Chinese smartphone manufacturers. This China-based company has released a bunch of smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona which ended recently. The Lenovo Vibe Shot was arguably the most interesting one out of the bunch, a mid-high end smartphone which supposedly has a great camera, and a first of a kind triple LED flash on the back. That being said, the company is planning to unveil something in China at the end of this month, read on.
This Chinese smartphone OEM has released an interesting teaser on their official Weibo (Chinese social network) page. As you can see, the image is full of graffiti and it has a date on it, March 23rd. This is the date of the event itself, and the question is, what will Lenovo announce there? Well, there’s always a possibility that the company intends to re-announce of their handsets from MWC, but for the Chinese market. It’s kind of hard to imagine that they will announce yet another device after announcing quite a few of them at the show in Barcelona, it is possible though, of course. Anyhow, teaser image is also showing what seems to be a rapper on top of the graffiti, so this might indicate that they’ll re-announce the Lenovo A7000, a device which comes with support for Dolby sound.
Some reports have been saying that Lenovo plans to unveil the company’s new flagship, the Vibe Z3 Pro, which was expected to make an appearance at MWC, but that didn’t happen. The Vibe Z3 Pro is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch display (probably a QuadHD panel), 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor has also been mentioned in some leaks, as well as a 16-megapixel OIS camera and the Tri-LED flash we’ve seen included in the Vibe Shot handset. Lenovo is also expected to use premium materials to build this device, and a 3,400mAh removable battery will reportedly ship with the Vibe Z3 Pro. The event is not that far away, we’ll know everything soon enough.
