Sony is ordering three million units of the Xperia E4 according to a Digitimes report. If true, it highlights that Sony has big plans for its budget handset – perhaps, this is also reflected in the budget price point.
The same report suggests that Sony Mobile will increase the number of entry-level and mid-range Xperia models running a MediaTek chipset during 2015. This is expected to include 4G LTE models running the MediaTek MT6752, a 64-bit octa-core system-on-chip.
