Samsung’s Latest Teaser Heavily Suggests Galaxy S6 To Be Of Metal Construction

Samsung Galaxy S6 metal teaser

Samsung has scheduled their Unpacked event for March 1st. This event will be held in Barcelona as part of MWC (Mobile World Congress) next month, even though it’s technically taking place before MWC kicks off on March 2nd. Either way, the company will announce their much-rumored Galaxy S6 flagship, and we might even see the Galaxy S6 Edge launched alongside the company’s flagship. As a side note, the Galaxy S6 Edge is the rumored handset with curved display on both its left and right side. Samsung has released a bunch of teaser videos and images thus far, but it seems they have no intention to stop until the event starts, because another one just arrived.

The company has posted yet another video teaser on Twitter, and it is embedded below this article, so that you can check it out. Like previous teasers, this one isn’t all that revealing either (hence the “teaser” tag), but unlike previous ones, this one actually regards the build material of the device. The teaser itself is kind of vague (or at least tries to be), but it seems like Samsung is trying to tease the metal construction of the device. “I am crafted from the beautiful things I see around me, they shape who I am, I am the next Galaxy,” this is the tagline used by Samsung in the video down below, though you really have to watch the video to get the full picture. It seems like Samsung also teased the device itself in this teaser for a brief second in the end, its side part. You can’t see much though, the image is small and is really dark on purpose, though the device seems really thin, which was to be expected.

As far as its specifications go, according to previous info, the device will feature a 5 / 5.1-inch (display size is the biggest mystery at the moment) QuadHD display along with 4GB of RAM and multiple internal storage variants. The company’s Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor will power on the device, and a 2,600mAh battery will allegedly be a part of the package as well, which shouldn’t be an issue as far as battery life goes due to the power efficient nature of the processor. Samsung has more or less confirmed that the device will offer wireless charging out of the box, and it seems more and more likely that the device will be made out of metal (unibody design).
