Samsung Begins Teasing the Galaxy S6; Starts With Mysterious Camera Tease

And so it begins, Samsung has officially started teasing the Galaxy S6 which we’re all expecting to be released in the next month or so. The company has started hyping things on Twitter, starting with the camera. In a new 17-seconds long video teaser, Samsung invites us to see #thenextgalaxy and teases things like “great vision” and a “unique view”. It’s hardly the most inpspiring teaser out there, but it’s a start and pretty much confirms that we’re to see the new device launch during Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. We’ll be there to bring you all the news, and hopefully Samsung will have something pretty special in store for us.

I would like to say that this is a sign that Samsung is to focus on a superior camera experience compared to previous flagships, but we’ve been hear a number of times before. Samsung focus on every feature going in their smartphones, so this is just the beginning for their marketing machine that will be churning out all sorts of things over the next few weeks. This week it’s a camera teaser, next week it could be about the display, or who knows. The point is that this is just the beginning for Samsung, there’s a lot more promotional material coming, so brace yourselves.

We have heard quite a bit an upcoming camera module from Samsung that is said to be world’s better than previous modules, but again this is to be expected from Samsung. I have no doubt that the camera in the new Galaxy S6 is going to be really quite good, but I doubt it’s going to be the main focus for their next smartphone. What would you like to see from Samsung over the next few weeks when the Galaxy S6 finally becomes official?
