Holy Moses! Tomorrow marks the 10th installment in the a long line of Resident Evil video games. If you’re looking forward to the release of Resident Evil Revelations 2, it’ll make its first appearance in North America for PC via Steam. About a month later on March 17th, it’ll arrive on the consoles.
Two versions are up on Steam right now for purchase: a more complete version of the game for $39.99 and the full game minus a little DLC fluff for $24.99. Both versions just became 25% off after coupon at the UK-based digital retailer Green Man Gaming. Depending on which version you get, the discount saves you as much as $10, and if you buy before tomorrow’s release, you’ll get any pre-order bonuses associated with each edition.

As mentioned before, there are two versions, and the best way to understand the difference is seeing what’s not in the cheaper “Complete Season”. This version still gets you the complete single player version of the game, but you’ll be missing out on a few “Raid Mode DLC packs”, including the ability to play Wesker in Raid Mode and a character customization pack. The last DLC you’ll be missing out on in the “Complete Season” is the “Raid Mode Throwback Map Pack”, BUT if you pre-order before 1PM Eastern on Wednesday, February 25th, you’ll get the Throwback Map Pack as a bonus. After the game releases, the pack will need to be bought separately, or can only be found in the full $39.99 version of the game.

Pre-order discounts on console video games are few and far between, but believe it or not, there are actually a few worthwhile deals out there for you to check out this week. Resident Evil Revelations 2 is CapCom’s latest edition to the series, and promises to…. not suck. Earlier today Destructoid gave it a 9/10 review rating, IGN came in at a 7/10 rating, and the rest out thus far have been in between those scores. While pre-ordering has been a risky venture with a slew of bad video games in recent years, hopefully the discounts and bonuses you get make it worthwhile.
