Huawei has had a really successful 2014, and is definitely looking to improve upon that this year. Company’s Huawei P8 device has been mentioned many times thus far, we’ve seen all kind of leaks and reports when it comes to this device. An interesting listing popped up on Geekbench recently which shows one of Huawei’s upcoming devices it seems, and judging by its specs, this could be the aforementioned Huawei P8 smartphone. Anyhow, let’s check it out.
This listing shows the ML-100-UL00 model, and it could easily be the Huawei P8. According to this listing the device is powered by an octa-core 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz and will ship with 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs. Android 5.0.2 Lollipop is also listed here by the way. The benchmark scores of this device are above any beyond the Kirin 620 class, but are rather close to the Kirin 925. This could be the Kirin 930 we’re talking about here, but I’d expect those results to be somewhat higher still. You can check out the benchmark results for yourself if you’d like, just follow the source link down below which will take you to Geekbench’s website.
That being said, the Huawei P8 is said to sport a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and a 2,600mAh battery. This thing will be powered by either the HiSilicon Kirin 925 or the Kirin 930 processor and will have glass both on its front and back side. This handset is expected to be really thin and will probably belong in the high-end category of devices, though won’t be breaking any records with its specifications. Huawei will announce this handset on April 15 in London, but I’m sure we’ll get a lot more leaks by that time and know basically everything about this handset before it launches.
Do you think that this ML-100-UL00 handset is in fact the Huawei P8, or do you think we’re looking at a completely different model here? Also, what do you think Huawei’s devices in general, did you like either of the company’s 2014 models?
