Unlocked Xperia Z3 arrives on US Sony Store for $679.99; ships 10 November

US Sony Xperia fans may be glad to hear that you can now order the Xperia Z3 directly from the Sony Store. The website has just listed the handset for $679.99 with an estimated ship date of 10 November. This is the global D6603 variant of the Xperia Z3 which brings LTE support with the following bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17 and 20.

All four colours are available to order (Black, White, Silver Green and Copper). Seems like a great option if you didn’t want to be tied down to a carrier such as T-Mobile with the Xperia Z3 or Verizon Wireless with the Xperia Z3v. Obviously, one advantage from buying direct from the Sony Store is that these models will have a bootloader than can be unlocked. Anyone looking to bite?
