Malaysia is the newest addition to Street View, and by now many of you would be scrambling to find your house on Google Maps.
Over the past year, some of you may have spotted the Google Street View cars running around, and Google is proud to announce that approximately 90 percent of the scenery along peninsular Malaysia’s public roads is now published.
Highlights of the new imagery include popular tourist destinations such as Taman Negara National Park, the islands of Langkawi and Pangkor, Penang, Melaka, and Putrajaya.
This will be an ongoing project and Google plans to continue to drive and trek across the country with the objective of capturing and updating the imagery across Malaysia regularly.
